Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 3, Brgy. Sulo, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay at 12:40 AM of October 8, 2020, wherein victim identified as Ronie Kimod Medina a.k.a. “ron-ron”, 30 years old, single, and a resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Sulo, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay was stabbed by unidentified suspect. Immediately, PNP personnel of Naga Municipal Police Station (MPS) proceeded to the place of incident to verify the veracity of the report and upon arrival thereat, said victim was already brought to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Hospital for medical treatment.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that while the victim waiting for a ride home in front of the residence of Victor Padao, three unidentified persons allegedly under the influenced of liquor appeared and without apparent reason stab the victim and ran away towards the direction of Sitio Catolin, Brgy. Sulo, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Victim sustained stabbed wound on his chest and was brought to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Hospital for medical treatment.
PNP personnel of Naga MPS are now conducting thorough investigation for the possible identity, locate and arrest of the fleeing suspects. Motive of the incident is yet to be determined.
