The Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) of Zamboanga City Jail (ZCJ) are almost to achieve 100 percent when it comes to Coronavirus Disease 2019 vaccination.
SJO2 Rey Laurence Comprendio, ZCJ Information Officer, said 1,470 are on first dose while 1,432 are fully vaccinated.
Only 34 PDLs are left unvaccinated and waiting for their vaccination schedule. The figures are adding as there are other PDLs being committed.
On the personnels of ZCJ, 125 are fully vaccinated and one on first dose.
Despite majority are already vaccinated they are still following the Minimum Public Health Standard inside the jail facility.
“This is for the protection of everybody,” Comprendio stressed.
He added, this is also in preparation for the face to face dalaw in the future. In the face to face dalaw, there will be barriers both visitors and PDLs must be vaccinated.
