Be informed that at about 10:00 AM of November 8, 2020, personnel of Leon B. Postigo Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PSSg. Reynald G. Estoconing together with Miller B. Caballero – Municipal Fish Warden conducted seaborne patrol along the Municipal Seawaters of Poblacion, Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte and apprehended three (3) fishermen identified as follows: Carmelito Fernandez Dela Cruz, 30 years old and a resident of Brgy. Bantayan, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte; Bobby Mendoza Alinsag, 19 years old; and Crisante Alinsag Ambuan, 20 years old, both residents of Brgy. Litolet, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte.
Subject persons were apprehended for (encroaching) unauthorized fishing within the territory of Leon B. Postigo Municipality. The said Fishermen were placed under police custody of Leon B. Postigo MPS while their fishing boats and paraphernalia were also in custody of the Office of the Municipal Agriculture for proper disposition.
