Benguet police destroyed P400, 000 worth of marijuana plants in the remote Kibungan town.
Operatives of Kibungan Municipal Police Station on Thursday, December 16 uprooted and destroyed 2,000 fully grown marijuana plants in a plantation site in the town.
The marijuana plants were discovered a 400 square meters communal land in Sitio Dalipey, Barangay Tacadang.
Meanwhile, in a separate anti-illegal drug operation, a drug personality identified as Edgar Casta̱eda Astudillo, 58, was arrested by the operatives of Provincial Intelligence Unit РAbra and RID-PROCOR.
Suspect Astudillo was arrested in a buy-bust operation and confiscate from him is 13 pieces of a heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu amounting to P13, 124.
