The Department of Health (DOH) regional office 9 has said that the Local Government Unit (LGU) issued Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination cards can be used especially locally.
Dr. Mary Germalyn Punzalan, DOH Medical Officer, stressed “LGU issued vaccine cards will suffice.”
She said, the card must be honored as long as the name of the vaccinees is there, address, type of vaccine used, date, and Batch and LOT number of the medicine.
Today, vaccine card is being used as a basis so one can go out to get essential services.
Vaccine cards can also be used for travel, to enter Zamboanga City without the RT PCR test.
Meanwhile, on the https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph launched initially for Overseas Filipino Workers Punzan said, it has 60 percent success rate.
At present many are also getting the said document as proof of Covid 19 vaccination.
