Coast Guard District North Eastern Mindanao holds the Joint Graduation Rites of WASAR Class 03 and Class 04- 2021 aboard HCGDNEM Conference Hall, 2nd Floor Danaque Building, Borromeo Street, Surigao City, last Thursday, 25 November 2021.
A total of Forty-three (43) CGDNEM’s newly aboard personnel coming from Class 03 composed of 18 students and Class 04 composed of 25 students successfully completed the said training which was graced by CG CAPT DENNIS A PANDEAGUA, Commander of Coast Guard District North Eastern Mindanao.
The five-day training was conducted by the Special Operations Unit-NEM at Surigao Base Port, Borromeo Street Surigao City. The participants had undergone demonstration of basic swimming strokes, knot tying, rubber boat carrying, life saving techniques, entries and approaches as well as defense escape and releases.
This activity intends to prepare and enhance the capability of CGDNEM personnel in conducting search and rescue operations in any untoward incidents and disasters.
