Shooting incident transpired at Purok Matahom, Brgy. Tuburan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur at 10:10 AM of September 13, 2020. The victim was identified as Crosib Abdul Maguindra, 50 years old, married, businessman and a resident of said place.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was inside his store when the two unidentified male suspects wearing black jacket appeared and shot the victim several times using caliber .45 pistol.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds on his chest and other parts of his body and was immediately brought to Pagadian City Doctor’s Hospital by his immediate family but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Suspects immediately left the area after the commission of the crime heading towards Brgy. Lumbia, Pagadian City onboard a single XRM motorcycle, color white with black combination.
Evidence recovered from the crime scene were six (6) fired cartridge cases of caliber 45 pistol and three (3) fired slugs of same caliber.
The initial motive of the incident is believed to be family feud.
PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station are now conducting hot pursuit operation and investigation to identify, locate and arrest the motorcycle riding suspects.
