Zamboanga del Sur – The Department of Labor and Employment-9, through its Zamboanga del Sur Field Office headed by Ms. Miraflor Casanes and its accredited co-partner, Lindongan Farmers Beneficiaries Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LIFABEMCO), had spearheaded the TUPAD Payout in the Municipality of San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur on February 08, 2022.
The said payout was witnessed by the Local Government Unit of San Pablo led by Mayor Danilo A. Taucan thru its Public Employment Service Office.
A total of PHP 2,196,200.00 was released under the TUPAD or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating. Displaced/Disadvantaged Workers Program to 695 beneficiaries in the said municipality.
The said beneficiaries were employed under the TUPAD Program for Ten (10) days and earned P 3,160.00 each.
TUPAD Program or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced, underemployed, and seasonal workers.
The payout activity was held at the Covered Court of Brgy. Kapamanok, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur.
