The CamSur Public Employment Service Office (Camsur Peso) of the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur joined the 1st PESOLYMPICS 2026 on August 27, 2026. Held at Iriga Sports Center, the PESO Camarines Sur Federation Officers, in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Camarines Sur, brought together PESO Managers, staff, and Job Placement Officers (JPOs) from across Camarines Sur for a day of learning, fellowship, and friendly competition.
The activity featured sessions on Labor Market Information, SPRS reporting, and workplace stress and burnout prevention, followed by Zumba and team games that challenged participants’ coordination, communication, and teamwork. A PESO Managers Association in Bicol (PESOMAB) meeting also provided a venue for sharing experiences and strengthening coordination among offices.
Anchored on the goal of building resilience among employment facilitation frontliners and strengthening Labor Market Information in the Province of Camarines Sur, the activity highlighted the importance of equipping PESO personnel with the knowledge, skills, and resilience needed to better serve jobseekers and communities.
More than recreation, the PESOLYMPICS recognized the people behind employment facilitation, those who help connect jobseekers to opportunities and bring public employment services closer to communities.
The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur recognizes CamSur PESO’s vital role in building a stronger workforce and remains committed to supporting initiatives that develop not only effective employment services, but also the people who deliver them.
