Pagadian City – DepEd Reg’l. Director, Dr. Ruth L. Fuentes led the team of the regional committee in the conduct of the ocular visit for the pilot implementation of face to face classes in the region.
However, prior to the event, the identified eight schools have to pass the general guide set by the central office before they were given the greenlight.
Meantime, Dr. Fuentes emphasized the strict implementation of the health protocols which is one of the requirements for the favorable approval from the National F2F Composite Team of the Central Office.
Fuentes further pointed out to the teachers that the parents or guardians of the learners must be called out to ensure 100 percent attendance if they failed to appear.
The presence of the local officials was evident during the site visits. The DepEd chief executive recognized their contributions as well.
Furthermore, Fuentes also took time to huddle with the parents or guardians and noted valuable inputs from them. She explained that thorough preparations were made to ensure of the learners’ safe face to face classes.
A total of four schools were visited today. The committee is set to have another four schools on the second day.
