PNP personnel of Kumalarang Municipal Police Station, Bukidnon Police Provincial Office and Maramag Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted joint police operation (service of warrant of arrest) at Purok 7, Brgy. Bogayo, Kumalarang Zamboanga Del Sur at 5:40 PM of September 14, 2020.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Rogelio Chavez Edoldol, Top-8 Most Wanted Person of Maramag MPS), 53 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of Purok Onse, Brgy. Dologon, Maramag, Bukidnon.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Nine Counts Statutory Rape, docketed under Criminal Case Nos. From 35514-20 to 35522-20 issued by Hon. Emmanuel P. Pasal, Assisting Judge, 10th Judicial Region, Regional Trial Court 10, Branch 9, Malaybalay City, with no recommended bail bond.
He was brought to Kumalarang MPS for documentation and turned over to Maramag MPS for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
