A father and son from Marawi City are now behind bars as a result of the buy-bust operation of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency PDEA at the parking area in Gaisano Mall Pagadian at around 1 pm of June 24, 2020, more or less 3.4 Million pesos of Shabu confiscated from them.
The suspects were identified as Macauna Ali Gunting, 53 years old and his son Bokia Gunting 27 years old both residents of Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.
They were onboard their white SUV, when the suspects made a transaction in a PDEA undercover agent who pretended as poseur buyer, upon making the transactions, immediately the PDEA of Zamboanga del Sur and other composite teams who were in the area held them.
The suspects are now behind bars facing their case the RA 9165 otherwise known as the comprehensive dangerous drug act of 2002.
The suspect wearing a striped shirt with a cap is Macauna Ali Gunting, 53 years old and wearing black shirt is his son Bokia Gunting 27 years old.
This is the Shabus that was confiscated and the marked money during the drug buy bust operation.
