Batac: Ilocos Norte tightens rules anew amid Omicron threat

The provincial government of Ilocos Norte imposes stricter protocols amid the threat of Omicron variant of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the country.

While the province is under Alert Level 2 classification, Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc signed Executive Order (EO) No. 172-22 on January 5 providing heightened restrictions in border, gatherings, and establishments in Ilocos Norte.
