The use Of Face Shields shall be voluntary pursuant to the Memorandum from the Executive Secretary for the Chairperson and members of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF) on the PROTOCOLS ON THE USE OF FACE SHIELDS, dated November 15, 2021.
However, “the protocols are without prejudice to the continuing mandatory use of face shields in medical and quarantine facility settings, and the required use thereof by healthcare workers in healthcare settings to include areas declared under granular lockdown.”
This is stipulated in Executive Order 691-2021, as Zamboanga City is placed under Alert Level 3 from November 17-30, 2021.
