The National Task Force against Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid 19) chief implementer has revealed that they are now preparing for the new normal.
Secretary Carlito G. Galvez, Jr. National Task Force against Covid 19 chief implementer said new normal, alert level 2 and below they will ease the restrictions slowly.
During the early stages of pandemic when the vaccines were not yet available, they were many restrictions when it comes to travel, wearing of facemask and shield, testing, and even going to the hospitals by appointment.
The wearing of mask will remain and Covid -19 vaccination will be massive.
“By March we will start preparing for the new normal. Kaya matapos namin yung plano by end of February and we will implement it incremental phase and sequential opening and lowering down of restrictions,” Galvez said.
Currently, majority of the areas in the Philippines are on alert level 2. Zamboanga City is on alert level 3.
