Business permit applications are processed through the Business One Stop Shop or BOSS system at Centro Latino in Paseo del Mar from January 3 to 20.
As of 5 pm Monday, January 3, more or less 500 applications have been received through the drop box system, with some 67 assessments released to applicants for payment and eventual release of permits, according to City Licensing Officer Benjie Barredo.
Of the 500 applications, 67 were already assessed and permits were already released.
For BOSS 2022, they can get the form at www.zamboangacity.gov.ph, proof of sales, any of the following: income tax returns, financial statement, percentage VAT returns, or previous assessment details.
All requirements must be placed in long brown envelope with the requirements with the name of the permitees name and contact number. This will be submitted at BOSS office located at Centro Latino, Paseo del Mar.
Permitee will be contacted when the assessment details are ready for pickup. They have to pay and the permit will be released.
BOSS Operation hours will be from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 8am-5pm Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
BOSS is a system where all offices and agencies involved in the business registration and renewal process were housed is one roof. BOSS will cater renewal of business permits to include application for new businesses in this city.
He said that they are expecting 12,825 to renew their business this year.
