The Office of the City Veterinarian intensifies provision of quality veterinary services despite its duties and responsibilities in border control.
The office last week conducted animal quarantine activities at Limpapa and Licomo borders, post meat establishment inspection, installed sprayers at the Licomo checkpoint as well as conducted regular Barangay veterinary outreach programs.
The OCVET likewise extended veterinary support services to armed personnel security K9 units and attended trainings on African Swine Fever monitoring and animal welfare updates.
Due to strong collaboration, the OCVET also received support consisting of veterinary supplies from the Department of Agriculture 9.
