Last September 15, Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc handed over the cheque amounting to ₱ 10,000.00 each to the following: 13 barangays in Marcos, 11 barangays in Nueva Era, and barangays Pagali, Saoit, Ablan, Bobon, Bayog, and Paayas in Burgos.
In addition, the barangays San Juan, San Roque, Salbang, Laoa, Nalasin, Sta. Rita, Surgui, Suba, San Agustin, San Pedro, Cabagooan, Cabangaran, San Blas, Dolores, Sangladan, Cayubog, Pannaratan, Veronica, Masintoc, Paratong, Pambaran, Nagbacalan, Bacsil, Nanguyudan, Callaguip, Oaig-Upay, Mumulan, Pasil, Monte, Sideg, and Sungadan in Paoay have also received the cash assistance.
He commended the barangay frontliners for their role in maintaining health and safety at the grassroots level throughout the pandemic and expressed his hope that the amount will at least bring joy to them.
