Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – Senior Citizens from Barangay Matin-ao, Mainit, Surigao del Norte received donations from Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation and Lucio Tan Group-Philip Morris International through Police Regional Office 13 last February 15 around 8:00 a.m.
“I would like to commend PCOL LAUDEMER M LAUDE, Force Commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 13 together with PMAJ DOROTHY M. TUMULAK, Regional Public Information Officer and Mainit Municipal Police Station, on their effort to distribute the significant donation from our stakeholder to the Senior Citizens in the municipality of Mainit.”
Police Regional Office (PRO)13 Director POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT, JR disclosed that Caraga police distributed 100 food packs, four cartons of instant noodles, and canned goods. Ms. Nancy Lincuna, together with the senior citizens in the area, received the goods.
“With this contribution, PRO13 was able to help the community’s daily needs. Our action is signifying our commitment to serve well and build a partnership with the community and stakeholders,” says RD CARAMAT, JR.
He also said that Senior Citizens play a vital role in local communities. It is respectable to provide them helpful services as they are one of the security forces’ partners in the region’s continuous development of peace and order.
