Road crash accident transpired at Rizal Avenue, Brgy. Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:11 PM of October 18, 2020 involving motorcycle skygo driven by Ricky Mark Natividad Labang, 18 years old, male, single, with two back riders Rene Mae Bangquiao Labang, 2 years old, female and Maena Amor Flores Bangquiao, 23 years old, female, all resident of Lipawan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur and motorcycle sun riser bearing plate no. 9890 driven by Ricardo Bacus Labang, 41years old, male, married, farmer and resident of Lipawan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur and passenger rural transit bus bearing plate no JVH584 driven by Nelson Alinan Dima-Ano, 42 years old, male, married, of Abong-Abong, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur.
Initial investigation disclosed that both motorcycle skygo and sunriser came from Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur and bound for Dumingag Zamboanga Del Sur while the passenger rural transit bus traveling from Poblacion Molave and bound for Pagadian City. However, upon reaching in front of Molave Gymnasium, skygo motorcycle driven by Ricky managed to pull ahead of motorcycle sunriser driven by Ricardo, when the former saw one passenger truck bus approaching him thus prompt him to return to his original position which caused him to accidentally hit the sunriser motorcycle thereafter, said skygo mc crashed down on the road and was bumped by the approaching passenger truck bus, as a result skygo mc driver and his two passengers sustained injuries on different parts of their bodies.
Victims were immediately brought by the Molave NDRRMC personnel to Salug Valley Medical Center Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur however, child victim Rene Mae was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
