K To 12 Work Immersion Program On Its Second Year

Davao City –   To equip students of the necessary skills and information on the Industry that they chose to thrive on after Senior High School, the Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School- Integrated Senior High School has started their immersion program, today, January 21, 2019. 37 Immersion partners both from private and public institutions have responded to NNCHS’ call for partnership.

Immersion Teachers have endorsed 651 Senior High School students to different  partners which include government agencies like, Department of Public Works and Highway, Provincial Government of Compostela Valley, Local Government Unit of Nabunturan, Mawab, Montevista and Department of Science and Technology – Compostela Valley Office.

Other industry partners include Enterprise Bank, Landbank of the Philippines, and Nabunturan Integrated Cooperative Inc.  Some of the students will be also immersed in learning institutions like Nabunturan Central Elementary School and health care providers Miguel O. Cabrera Sr. Memorial Hospital Corporation and Nabunturan Doctors Hospital Inc. Other immersion students will be assigned to companies that offer tourism and hospitality services like Big 8 Hotel and Molave Hotel at Tagum City.

The said Immersion program will be from a minimum of 80 hours to 320 hours depending on the satisfaction of required competencies of work immersion delivery option per DepEd Order No. 30, s.2017 Work immersion Guidelines.
