Enriching the kitchen experience

IN these challenging times, the kitchen has become one of the most important parts of the house. In fact, the kitchen has evolved in importance as people spend more time staying at home in an effort to stay safe.

Loli Sy, founder and executive vice president of Focus Global Inc. told members of the press the introduction of the latest model of German luxury brand SieMatic has proven the brand’s stability by weathering the current crisis.  “Its new tagline ‘Rewrite The Lines In Kitchen Design’ is an apt representation of the innovative spirit that SieMatic has been known for since its inception in 1929 until now,” Sy said.

With a discriminating market  who value form and function in mind, Sy said the PURE SLX Kitchen Cabinet and its novel features is apt to this segment that does not compromise  quality, timelessness, and elegance.

With a minimalist-centric design, Sy said the SieMatic PURE style collection  is just as functional as it is aesthetic  and transforms a kitchen as a work of art.

“The SLX kitchen redefines craftsmanship, elegance, and purism. This is truly a kitchen concept that is meant to set new standards,” Sy said.

To give members of the press a glimpse of the wonderful kitchen design, SieMatic partnered with award-winning chef Chele Gonzalez of Gallery By Chele.

Sy said SieMatic chose Chef Chele as he developed  exceptional creations in the kitchen that  raised the standards of fine dining in the Philippines. “His dedication to improving and pushing the boundaries of his craft makes him the perfect partner in celebrating the inspired and innovative design of the SLX kitchen,” she said.

Chef Chele developed an exclusive tasting menu for SieMatic SLX inspired by its four key concepts: Weightlessness, Light, Feel, and Transparency. For weightlessness, Chef Chele prepared a floating Foie Gras Pâté topped with Blackberry Coulis served with Brioche Toast and Mixed Berry Jam.

Inspired by the weightless drawers and countertop of the SLX kitchen, Chef Chele developed a light and airy foie gras dish that’s served in a double-walled glass to achieve an illusion of suspension.

To represent light, the award-winning chef prepared grilled Tenderloin on Parmesan Mashed Potatoes with Choice of Two Sauces and Two Shavings: Beef Jus and Parmesan and Béarnaise and Truffles.

Moreover, Chef Chele gave two completely different experiences from the same Grilled Tenderloin dish by creating varying flavor profiles: The beef jus with parmesan gives it a darker, saltier profile, while the béarnaise with truffle shavings offers a tart, buttery flavor.

To get the “feel,” Chef Chele prepared Chocolate Bonbons with Coco Sugar Caramel Filling.

Chef Chele’s chocolate bonbons mirror the ribbed design of the recessed grip to echo the feel and texture of the recessed grip. Inside these delicate chocolate pieces is a gooey coco sugar caramel filling inspired by the golden color of this kitchen element Apple Tart with Caramelized Apples, Hazelnut and Cinnamon Custard  reimagines the classic apple tart to create a dish that resembles the transparency of the SLX three-panel glass cabinets. With transparent doors and panels, and minimal frames, the SLX glass cabinets are a showstopper in any room and can seamlessly link the kitchen to the living room and lend additional weightlessness to the entire space.

Chef Chele has taken these classic dishes and found a way to elevate them and present them in a new light centered on a minimalist design which SieMatic Pure SLX Kitchen has been known to its users.
