Consular offices continue limited operations amid extended MECQ

With the extension of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) to 14 May 2021 in the National Capital Region and in the provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal, the Consular Offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs in Metro Manila (including the Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana, Parañaque City), Antipolo, Dasmariñas, Malolos and San Pablo will continue to operate with a limited work force and on limited working hours.

From Monday, 03 May 2021 to Friday, 14 May 2021, these Consular Offices in Metro Manila, Antipolo, Dasmariñas, Malolos and San Pablo will process passport appointments from 29 March to 5 April 2021 ONLY, as follows:

Original appointment schedule:Revised appointment schedule: (please check latest email sent for the specific day of appointment; time slot will follow the time slot of your original schedule; those scheduled from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. will be accommodated between 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.)
March 29 and 30May 3 to 7
March 31 and April 5May 10 to 14

Concerned applicants are requested to report to the Consular Office not earlier than 15 minutes before their scheduled time slot as per their original appointment time slot. 

Passport applicants who hold original appointments from May 1 onwards will be rescheduled. Please check your email for the new appointment schedule and instructions. Please be advised that you will not be allowed entry if you report to the concerned Consular Offices between May 1 to 14, 2021. 

Please be advised that the schedules are still subject to sudden changes due to unforeseen circumstances or changes in the policies of local governments and mall partners which host these COs. The DFA will update its advisory if there are changes to the schedules. Please make sure to check our website https://consular.dfa.gov.ph for the latest update on the schedules of Consular Offices.

Applicants with urgent or emergency travel requirements may continue to request accommodation at an earlier date by emailing the concerned Consular Office. Please be advised that documentary proof will be required as those with emergency or urgent travel requirements will be prioritized (e.g. medical records/certificate for medical emergencies, residence card or working visa for OFWs and Filipinos with residence overseas, confirmation of enrollment or participation in overseas studies or training, etc.).

If you requested for accommodation due to an emergency or urgent travel requirement, please wait for the email confirmation of your requested schedule before visiting the Consular Office.

Anyone entering our Consular Offices will be subjected to a temperature check prior to entry and will be required to wear a mask and a face shield and must follow any other public health measures in place while inside the CO premises. 

Please note that the number of persons allowed inside our COs at any given time is limited. Further, only one essential companion will be allowed entry together with the applicant (i.e. companions of the elderly, young children, clients with mobility issues, etc.). This is in accordance with the prescribed social distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
