In a bid to ensure the successful implementation of the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2024-053 dated April 16, 2024 on the “Nationwide Implementation of the Barangay Road Clearing Operations, Assessment, Validation and Recognition under the Bagong Pilipinas Program”, prospective Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Officials from the 1,063 component barangays of Camarines Sur attended the NBOO National Orientation earlier today, May 6, 2024 via Zoom Video Teleconferencing.
The NatOr emphasized the importance of clearing roads from obstructions, illegal encroachments and constructions. The discussions also delved into the crucial aspects of validating road clearing efforts, assessing the effectiveness of implemented measures and recognizing exemplary road clearing performances.
As all barangays in the country are slated to participate in the Simultaneous Nationwide Conduct of the Barangay Road Clearing Operations this Friday, May 10, 2024, Barangay and SK Officials are expected to take an active role in the monthly road clearing operations, reflecting on their commitment to fostering good governance and effective public service delivery.
