Be informed that at about 4:00 PM of December 5, 2020, personnel of Roxas Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PSMS Richard C. Suasula conducted anti-illegal gambling operation at Purok 1, Brgy. Nabilid, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte and arrested three (3) suspects, namely: Juliet E. Sarmiento, 47 years old; Lilia O. Azcuna, 68 years old; and Amalia B. Hamoy, 53 years old, all residents of said place.
Subject persons were caught in the act engaged in illegal gambling locally known as “tong-its”. Confiscated during the operation were one (1) set playing cards and bet money amounting to ₱ 229.00 in different denominations.
Arrested suspects and the seized items are now in custody of Roxas MPS for proper disposition.
