Be informed that at about 8:00 PM of December 5, 2020, this office received a cellular phone call that there was an alleged mauling incident transpired at Purok 6, Calube, Sibutad Zamboanga del Norte.
Acting on the report, 4 PNP personnel of Sibutad Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PSSg. Juluis N. Pelusas proceeded to the abovementioned place to verify the veracity of the said report.
Initial investigation conducted by the responding team, disclosed, that a certain Emily Zamora Marimon, 46 years old, female, businesswoman and a resident of Purok 6, Calube, Sibutad, Zamboanga del Norte was allegedly punched by her live-in partner one Bobby Mertalla Macion, 46 years old, male, miner and resident of same place hitting to her stomach and further threatened to kill her.
Said incident happened at about 6:00 PM of December 5, 2020 at their residence at the aforementioned place. That after the arrest of the accused he was properly informed his constitutional rights in dialect he understands and further brought him to Sibutad MPS for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges against him in court.
