An alleged big-time drug suspect was arrested while some ₱ 340,000 worth of illegal drugs seized in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, Saturday, August 21, 2021.
Emerson Margate, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional director, identified the arrested suspect as Naasep Atih alias Vice, 18.
Margate said that Atih was arrested in an anti-drug operation around 7:10 p.m. Friday, August 20, in Kasanyangan village.
Margate said recovered from Atih were some 50 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱ 340,000, an analog cellular phone, and a bundle of boodle money.
He said they launched the anti-drug follow up surveillance on the illegal drug trade activity of the suspect.
He said that charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect.
