Cebu City – Kilat maaoy gitumbok nga hinungdan sa blackout nga naka apekto sa pipila ka bahin sa kabisay-an lakip na ang Cebu Island pipila ka gutlo sa wala pa ang tungang gabii, Biyernes, Agosto 20, 2021.
“A lightning strike to NGCP’s Cebu-Quiot-Colon line just before midnight last night caused power interruptions across Cebu, Leyte, Samar, and Bohol,” statement gikan sa National Grid Power Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
“Efforts to restore power transmission services to affected power customers began immediately with the first loads restored at 12:52 AM. Almost all feeders were energized by 5:48 AM.”
Matod sa NGCP nga padayon silang mitrabaho aron ma restore ang electric cooperative sa Leyte.
“NGCP is expediting the re-energization of it’s Isabel Substation, which serves part of Leyte under LEYECO V,” dugang statement sa NGCP.
Sa ilang imbestigasyon, nasuta sa NGCP nga ang kilat nga miigo maoy hinungdan sa dungan nga pag trip off sa Colon-Cebu 138 KV lines 1, 2,3 ug Colon-Quiot 138 KV line nga naka trigger sa power interruption.
Ang massive power interruption naka apekto sa mga lalawigan sa Sugbu, Bohol, Samar ug Leyte. (Jhon Tadlip)
