Last Thursday, November 18, 2021, Mayor Beng Climaco joined DSWD-9 and CSWDO personnel in the distribution of the livelihood assistance grant to 317 indigent families in Sta. Barbara that are hardest by the pandemic.
The sustainable livelihood program is a community – based capacity building program that seeks to improve and alleviate the plight of the poor, vulnerable and the marginalized sectors of the society.
A total of 317 beneficiaries received the financial grant of ₱ 10k each during distribution rites held Thursday. The activity is funded by the National Government through the DSWD.
Meanwhile, the CSWDO, also distributed rice to the families.
