With one COVID-19 patient left in the province, Zamboanga Sibugay could be declared COVID free anytime soon.
This after one of the remaining COVID patients yielded negative results in the latest RT-PCR/Swab test.
It can be recalled that since September 2, 2020, the province has not recorded any additional COVID 19 case, the last one being an LSI who returned home in Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Today however is the 14th day of said LSI after resulting positive in the swab test, but based on information gathered, said patient is asymptomatic.
Zamboanga Sibugay COVID-19 Task Force is waiting for the official declaration from the MHO of Titay as to when will the said COVID 19 patient be declared free of the said virus and will be allowed to go home to his family.
