Mayor Beng Climaco Thursday thanked President Rodrigo Duterte for the countless projects given to Zamboanga City including the Zamboanga City Seaport Development Projects, as she cited its benefits to the people of the City and the region.
“Kining pasilidad daku kaayu ug katabang sa Zamboanga City ug ZAMBASULTA kay ania diri ang dagkung kumpanya sa sardinas”, the mayor said in the Visayan language, as she welcomed the president and other guests during the inauguration of 143 social and tourism port projects Thursday afternoon at the Zamboanga port.
The president led the ceremony together with Sen Bong Go, DOTr Secretary Tugade and PPA officials.
The 143 social and tourism port projects highlight the president’s goal of equitable growth and development through mobility and connectivity in the country that must be shared by every Filipino even in far-flung areas, according to Sec Tugade.
