The City Government has set January 22, 2022 as Vaccine Booster Day where all vaccination sites will accept walk-in vaccinees eligible for booster.
A dry run for Drive-thru Booster Vaccination will also be conducted on the same day at the IBT in Divisoria.
Eligible for booster are 18 years old and above, who completed 3 months after the 2-dose COVID-19 vaccination and/or 2 months after receiving the 1-dose Janssen vaccine.
Guidelines for the Drive-thru Booster Vaccination are the following:
- Only 400 doses will be available
- The following cannot be vaccinated via Drive-thru
a.) Those who have not yet completed their two doses (one dose for janssen)
b.) Those aged 17 years and below
c.) Those with comorbidities, even aged 18 years and above
d.) Those who are senior citizens
The above individuals may be vaccinated in any of the walk in vaccination site
Meanwhile, January 26-28, 2022 is designated as Regional Vaccination Days with Zamboanga City targeting to reach over 40k eligible population during the 3-day campaign. The list of vaccination sites will follow. (Sheila Covarrubias)
