Cebu City – Nag-atubang og reklamosa Ombudsman Visayas ang 12 ka tawo lakip sa mga opisyal sa PhilHealth 7 ug medical practitioners labot sa pasangil sa kahiwian sa claim sa pasyente sa coronavirus disease o Covid-19.
Ang mga sakop sa National Bureau of Investigation o NBI-7 misang-at sa mga kasong criminal ug administratiba batok sa walo ka opisyal sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp. ug upat ka officer sa pribadong ospital sa dakbayan sa Sugbo nga nalambigit sa kahiwian sa health claims sa pasyente.
Ang mga reklamo naglakip sa giingong kalapasan sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards of Public Officials and Employees, ug Malversation of Public Funds.
Gipasaka sa NBI ang naasoyng mga sumbong sa Ombudsman Visayas alas 9 pasado gahapon sa buntag.
Atol sa follow-up press conference, si Atty. Renan Oliva, director saNBI-7, miingon nga ang ilang desisyon nahasubay sa mando ni Pres. Rodrigo Duterte sa DOJ o Department of Justice paghimog imbestigasyon sa mga pasangil sa anomaliya sa PhilHealth.
Lakip sa gipangkeha sa NBI-7mao sila si Arlan Granali,  acting regional vice president sa PhilHealth 7;  Dr. Francis Javier, HCDMD division chief; Dr. Joan Tiu-Ayuson, Benefits administration section chief;  Josette Bacalso, fiscal controller; Dr. Reginal Mangubat, benefits administration officer; Anecito Ramas Jr., social insurance officer; Anthonette Maamo, benefits administration clerk; ug  Kenneth Donalvo, social insurance assistant sa PhilHealth 7.
Gikeha usab sa NBI ang upat ka sakop sa Perpetual Succour Hospital nga gilambigit sa kahiwian.
