Be informed that at about 7:00 o’clock in the evening more or less of November 8, 2020 Sergio Osmeña Municipal Police Station (MPS) received a cellular phone from a concern citizen and reported that there was a Vehicular Traffic Accident (VTA) transpired along the national highway of Brgy. Poblacion Alto, Sergio Osmeña Sr. Zamboanga del Norte. Immediately PNP elements of said station proceeded to the place of occurrence to verify the veracity of the said report.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that there were two (2) vehicle involved wherein V1-Toyota Vios 1.5G Gas SEDAN 2014 model color pearl white with engine number 1NZZ028416 and chassis number NCP1502003531 bearing plate number AAY4825 registered to Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company address of Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Metrobank Plaza, Makati with OR No. MVRR 75854520 and driven by Jose Daren Otarra, holder of PDL No.JOI-12-003080 while travelling towards the Municipal Church of Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte and upon reaching at the junction/place of incident said vehicle was accidentally bumped/hit on the right portion by the V2-Smash motorcycle driven by Caesar Degracia Dammang, 30 years old, single, a resident of Padre Ramon St. Estaka, Dipolog City a holder of PDL No.JOI-19-010337, but failed to present his OR/CR who travelling to the Provincial road towards Petron Gasoline Station.
As a result, the driver of V2 failed to apply brake that caused his driven motorcycle fell down on the road and he sustained minor injuries on his both legs while his driven motorcycle also incurred minor damages and V1 also incurred damaged on the right front fender.
Further, no sketch obtained considering that both vehicles were already removed from its original position upon arrival of the investigator. Both vehicles were temporarily impounded at Sergio Osmeña MPS for proper disposition.
