Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 continues to intensify the campaign against wanted persons and arrested four persons sought by law during a manhunt operation conducted within two days (December 8-9) in different parts in Caraga.
POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT JR, RD PRO13, identified the arrested persons to include as Maurecio C. Sabosido who was top most wanted person in provincial level.
Sabosido was arrested yesterday (December by the personnel of Bayabas Municipal Police Station (MPS) for Qualified Rape (RPC ART 266-B) with criminal case no. 8487-21 in Purok-1, Brgy. La Paz, Bayabas, Surigao del Sur. The court recommends no bail for Sabosido.
Police record shows that Sabosido abused a minor on July 15, 2021.
Meanwhile, operatives from Bislig City Police Station (CPS) led by PLTCOL MICHAEL B LOZADA nabbed Rod Santiago P Alhambra, a resident of Purok 4 Everlasting, New Isabela, Tacurong City in Sultan Kudarat and Mary Joy D. Galot, a resident of P-3, Maharlika, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur.
Alhambra was nabbed for Violation of Section 5 of R.A 9262 otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 under Criminal Case Number 2021-2-6241-B.
The Regional Trial Court, 11th Judicial Region Branch 46 recommended ₱ 72,000.00 bail bond for his temporary liberty.
On the other hand, Mary Joy D. Galot, was also arrested by Bislig City police for “Grave Oral Defamation” under Criminal Case No. 2021-06-5465-B with bail bond recommended at ₱ 18,000.00.
Today, personnel of 2nd Agusan del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company (ADSPMFC) and Trento MPS arrested a certain Mary Ann B Bebis of P-3, Brgy, Kapatungan Trento, Agusan del Sur for Violation of RA No. 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 with bail bond recommended at ₱ 72,000.00.
The accused was ranked eight most wanted person in municipal level.
