Claver starts vaccination for minors – Aged 12 to 17.
A total of 1,203 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered today by the Claver Vaccination Team. This is the highest number of doses given in just one day since the mass vaccination program of the government took off in the municipality. As of writing, a total of 32,831 doses were administered, with 15,862 individuals already fully vaccinated while 16,969 received their first (1st) dose.
The municipality also kicked off its vaccination for minors, aged 12 to 17, as the national government begins its nationwide rollout of COVID-19 vaccination for the said age group. The vaccination team required proper identification before the minor individuals could be inoculated and they must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Meanwhile, Mayor Georgia D. Gokiangkee has initiated the Barangay Mobile Vaccination and continued information drive to intensify the LGU’s campaign and call to Clavernons who are not yet inoculated with the Covid-19 vaccine to avail of the free vaccination program of the government and protect themselves from the virus, especially those belonging to priority groups.
