The municipal playground was transformed into a Disneyland Theme Park as the local government last Thursday, February 17, started vaccinating children aged 5-11 against the deadly virus.
Mascots, magic shows, balloons, giveaways and food carts were all over the vaccination site making it more appealing and enjoyable for kids.
In her speech, Mayor Georgia Gokiangkee assured the parents that Covid-19 vaccines have been proven safe and effective for the said age group, and to only obtain reputable resources from people with the right experience and expertise.
The event was graced by Department of Health CARAGA Regional Director Dr. Cesar C. Cassion with personnel from Provincial Health Office.
