Shooting incident transpired at Purok Villarte, Brgy. Kapamanok, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur at 2:00 AM of December 25, 2020. San Pablo Municipal Police Station identified the victims as Felix Pelonio Mancao, 38 years old, married, carpenter, of Purok Villarte, Brgy. Kapamanok, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur; and Arnel Labajo Sagario, 39 years old, married, habal-habal driver, of Purok Sayson, Brgy. Kapamanok, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victims were walking on their way home from Brgy. Kapamanok proper and upon arrival at Purok Villarte, Brgy. Kapamanok, San Pablo Zamboanga del Sur, the suspects identified as Julieto Viosada Alquiza, 47 years old, with live in partner, farmer; Daniel Angcot Yarez, 27 years old, with live in partner, farmer; and Ronniebert Angcot Yarez, 23 years old, single, farmer, all residents of Purok Villarte, Brgy, Kapamanok, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur waylaid on them, hacked and shoot the victims.
The said victim Felix Mancao sustained gunshot wounds on his forehead and hacked wounds in his face, while Arnel Sagario sustained gunshot wound on his head resulting to their instantaneous death. The suspects fled the scene after the incident and motive of the incident believed to be a personal grudge.
Recovered from the crime scene were three pieces of fired cartridge case of caliber .45 and two pieces of ammunitions of caliber .45. The San Pablo Municipal Police Station is now conducting manhunt operation against the fleeing suspects.
