Road crashed accident transpired at Purok 4, Brgy Bobongan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur at 9:00 PM of December 21, 2020, involving two single motorcycles described as Yamaha Mio Aerox 155 driven by April Cris Jumadla Barrion and Suzuki Smash, color black, bearing temp. plate no 0901458905 driven by Jeffrey Castro Bantigue, together with Rolando Castro Bantigue as his back rider.
Accordingly, upon reaching place of accident, the Suzuki allegedly turned left and the other motorcycle Yamaha about to overtake that resulted of the two motorcycles to collide.
The passenger of Suzuki identified as Rolando Castro Bantigue (backrider) sustained severe injuries in different parts of his body and was rushed by concern citizens going to Aurora Community Emergency Hospital Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur for immediate medical attention but was declared Dead on Arrival (DOA) by his attending physician.
Both Motorcycles and suspect were then brought to Ramon Magsaysay Municipal Police Station, for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
