Shooting incident transpired at MCLL Highway, Brgy. Bolong, Zamboanga City at 1:00 AM of December 22, 2020, perpetrated by three (3) unidentified male persons. The victim was identified as Reynaldo Dagalea Salazar Jr, 52 years old, male, married, resident of aforementioned place, who was rushed to Mindanao Central Sanitarium Hospital for immediate medical treatment.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, there were three male persons knocking at the door of the victim’s residence. The wife of the victim then opened their sliding window to check. The suspects then saw the victim standing inside their house and suddenly shot the victim and his wife through the window. Fortunately, the wife was not hit.
However, the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his body. The unidentified suspects boarded an unidentified four wheels vehicle and fled towards the direction of Brgy. Curuan, Zamboanga City after the commission of the crime. Victim was immediately brought to Mindanao Central Sanitarium Hospital.
Recovered from the crime scene were Nine (9) empty shells and One (1) live ammunition of Caliber .45 pistol. The recovered items at the crime scene were already removed from its original position by the family members of the victim.
Personnel from Zamboanga City Police Station 3-Sangali are now conducting thorough investigation and hot pursuit operation for the arrest of the suspects.
