Be informed that at about 11:00 AM of September 15, 2020, Sindangan Municipal Police Station (MPS) received a report from a concerned citizen that they were able to capture a suspect of theft incident at CL Commercial Building, Brgy. Poblacion, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.
Investigation conducted disclosed that the suspect identified as SONNY BOY MANDAG ANSERONG, 29 years old and a resident of Sipakong, Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte and the victim identified as Marlita Quisel Agura, 47 years old and a resident of Brgy. Disud, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.
Further investigation revealed that at about 10:30 AM of same date, the victim was informed by her brother in law, that a traffic enforcer held the suspect who took the things in their house and was positively identified by them through CCTV footage that captured at about 3:18 AM of same date.
Recovered items from suspect were two (2) pairs of havaianas slippers and 1 pair of jeans with a total worth of ₱ 3,000.00.
The arrested suspect is now in custody of Sindangan MPS for further investigation.
