Be informed that at about 07:35 PM of September 15, 2020, personnel of PDEU, ZNPPO led by PCAPT. JEFFERSON L. BALINDAN with Siocon Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PMAJOR EDISON FRANCISCO ALVIAR-COP and 1st ZNPMFC conducted buy-bust operation at Brgy. Andres L. Micubo, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the arrest of JOVANNIE LAYOS HAMOY alias “BAMBAM”, 24 years old (July 6, 1996), male, single, jobless and a resident of said place, DI Watch listed (SLI) and drug surrendered last July 08, 2016.
Confiscated items from the suspect were: Two (2) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “SHABU”; One (1) piece 500 peso (₱ 500) bill Buy Bust Money; ₱ 200.00 cash money in different denominations; and Drug paraphernalia.
The arrested suspect is now under the custody of Siocon MPS and the confiscated drug items will be turned-over to ZNPCLO for chemical examination.
A case for violation of RA 9165 was being readied for filling at Provincial Prosecutor’s Office against the suspect.
