Be informed that at about 10:30 AM of October 28, 2020, ESTERLITA DIGOS ADAZA, 63 y.o. and a resident of Sitio Diwait, Brgy. Tabon, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga del Norte assisted by Carmelo Berdera, 46 y.o., Bantay Dagat also a resident of same place appeared at Jose Dalman Municipal Police Station (MPS) and reported that allegedly on October 27, 2020 at around 11:58 PM, she was sexually molested by her son Max Digos Adaza, 40 y.o., single and a resident of Sitio Diwait, Brgy. Tabon, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga del Norte.
Immediately, PNP personnel of Jose Dalman MPS led by PEMS. Marlon Requina responded the incident. Initial investigation conducted by the case investigator disclosed that the victim was under the influence of intoxicating liquor and already asleep at around 9:00 PM but she was awaken at around 12:00 midnight because of the molestation of the suspect who was also under the influence of intoxicating liquor. The victim revealed that she was surprised because her son was lying on his side and she noticed that her lower garments (panty and short) was already pulled down and the suspect has also no short and only wearing his t-shirt. She further said that she felt pain on her body. When she woke up, she immediately went to the house of their neighbor to ask for assistance and they went to the house of Carmelo Berdera and subsequently to the Police station.
Responding team successfully arrested the aforementioned suspect and informed his constitutional rights then brought to Jose Dalman Rural Health Unit. Both suspect and victim were sent for Medical Examination and subsequently the suspect was brought to Jose Dalman MPS for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges against him.
