Top 4 Most Wanted Person of Siayan, Arrested
PNP personnel of Siayan Municipal Police Station together with Labangan Municipal Police Station and Zamboanga del Norte PNP-HPG conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Cogonan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jear Abe Bucol, 32 years old, married, male, farmer, elementary level, and a resident of Barangay Cogonan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant for the crime of Murder, docketed under criminal case no. S-6173 dated December 7, 2021 issued by Hon. Cherry Joy C Concha-Ageas, Acting Presiding Judge, RTC, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte with no bail bond. He was brought to Labangan Municipal Police Station for documentation and was subsequently turned over to personnel of Siayan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Hacking Incident
A hacking incident transpired at Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Timuay Danda, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 9:40 PM of September 1, 2021. Victim was identified as Dario Faustino Rasonable, 52 years old, male, married while suspect was identified as MSgt. Gilbert Faustino Rasonable (retired Marines), 44 years old, male, married, both residents of Purok Sampaguita, Barangay, Timuay Danda, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, both the victim and suspect were having a drinking spree and a heated argument ensued, the victim who was armed with a bolo allegedly tried to hack the suspect but the latter was able to evade and went to his vehicle to grab his bolo, and hacked the victim. As a result, the victim sustained hacked wounds on his face and back portion of his head and was rushed to Pathfinder Estate Hospital while the suspect is now under the custody of Kabasalan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Rape Suspect in Molave, Arrested in Davao Oriental
PNP personnel of Molave Municipal Police Station together with personnel of PIT-RID; HPG-Mati; and Governor Generoso Municipal Police Station (Davao Oriental) conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 2 Bejoco, Brgy. Tibanban, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental at 9:30 AM of September 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jaime Rosales Ybanez, 52 years old, married, vendor, and a resident of Purok 2 Bejoco, Brgy. Tibanban, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape, docketed under criminal case no. 2014-10-2804 dated October 6, 2014 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9TH Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur with no bail bond. He was brought to Governor Generoso Municipal Police Station for documentation and to be turned over to personnel of Molave Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Rape Suspect Arrested in Mahayag
PNP Personnel of Mahayag Municipal Police Station together with CIDG Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Field Unit; PIU ZSPPO; 1st PMFC; Group 7 of IOBC Class 187-2021, and Mahayag Municipal Police Station conducted joint law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 1, Brgy. Pugwan, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur at about 3:00 PM of September 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Rico Alquezar Samante, 43 years old, widow, and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Pugwan, Mahayag Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape (9 Counts) docketed under criminal case numbers 2021-10-4263, 2021-10-4264, 2021-10-4265, 2021-10-4266, 2021-10-4267, 2021-10-4268, 2021-10-4269, 2021-10-4270 and 2021-10-4271 with no bail bond. He is now temporarily detained at Mahayag Municipal Police Station while waiting for a commitment order from the court.
Rape Suspect Arrested in Lakewood
PNP personnel of Lakewood Municipal Police Station together with Pagadian City Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 13, Barangay Poblacion, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur at 8:15 PM of September 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Merton Mangangot Ungang, “a.k.a.” Tumalik, 63 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 13, Barangay Poblacion, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant for the crime of Rape, docketed under criminal case no. 15797-2K21 dated August 27, 2021 issued by Hon. Jaime Belatcho Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur with no bail bond. He is now temporarily detained at Lakewood Municipal Police Station while waiting for commitment order from the court.
Men Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Labason
PNP personnel of RDEU9 Zamboanga del Norte together with intel operatives of Labason Municipal Police Station conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok 3,Brgy Gil Sanchez, In-front of the school of Southern Peninsula College, Labason Zamboanga del Norte at 12:10 AM of August 31, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Colossis Malantig Cañedo 19 years old and resident of Purok 8, Brgy Sanito, Ipil Zamboanga Sibugay, and Joel Sagang Tuñacao 23 years old and resident of Purok 4 ,Brgy Danzalan, Labason. Confiscated during the operation were one (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu (buy-bust), three (3) small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu (possession). Confiscated items have an estimated weight of 2 grams with an estimated street value of P13,600.00, one disposable lighter with flame reducer, three (3) cut aluminum foil, one (1) matchbox served as container of the 3 sachets of suspected Shabu, one (1) piece one hundred peso bill, one (1) two hundred peso bill used as marked money and, one (1) unit cellphone keypad brand QNET. Arrested suspects are temporary detained at Liloy Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
