Top 6 Most Wanted Person of Aurora, Arrested in Lanao del Norte
PNP personnel of Aurora Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Sultan Naga Dimaporo Municipal Police Station, Nunungan Municipal Police Station, and Tukuran Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at P-7, Barangay Ilian, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte at about 10:00 PM of August 19, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Romulo Ebale Artajo, 63 years old, married, farmer, and presently residing at P-7, Barangay Ilian, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape with criminal case no. 06-10,506 issued by Hon. Ernesto Laurel, Presiding Judge, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30 at RTC Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, dated February 12, 2008, with no bail bond recommended. He is now under the custody of Aurora MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
Hacking Incident
A hacking incident transpired at Barangay Gil Sanchez, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte at about 8:00 AM of August 19, 2021 wherein the victim was identified as Nilo T Dacsaan, 39 years old, male and a resident of Barangay Bobongan, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte and the suspect was identified as Jimboy Tiyapan, 43 years old, farmer and a resident of Barangay Lopoc, of same Municipality. Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the while the victim was extracting and removing coconut meat near the coco dryer together with his nephew, suddenly, the suspect appeared and without any provocation, hacked the victim. Luckily, the victim was able to run away and seek for police assistance. PNP personnel of Labason Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted hot pursuit operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of the bladed weapon. Arrested Suspect and the seized items are now in custody of Labason MPS for proper disposition.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Labason
PNP personnel of Labason Municipal Police Station (MPS) and 901st Maneuver Company-RMFB9 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Lawagan, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte at 10:30 AM of August 19, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jonar Aldenese Antigo, 40 years old, male, married, fish vendor, a resident of Barangay Gil Sanchez, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte. Confiscated during the operation were one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu (buy-bust item); five pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu weighing 0.8 grams amounting to ₱ 5,440.00; one ₱ 500.00 bill used as marked money; cash money in different denomination worth ₱ 34,640.00; 2 cellphones; and one black motorcycle Bajaj. Arrested suspect and seized non illegal drug items are now in custody of Labason MPS while seized illegal drugs will be turn over to Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
