On October 7, 2020, NCMF-NCR distributed another 5-kilo rice sacks to 1,200 Muslim Filipino families in the following areas:
1) Barangay 188, Tala, Caloocan
2) Barangay 176, Bagong Silang, Caloocan
3) Annapolis, Cubao, Quezon City
4) Murphy, Cubao, Quezon City
5) White Mosque , Payatas , Quezon City.
The sacks were received by their MCC leaders and representatives, namely Engr. Camal Papandayan, Aleem Mohammad Sadiq Cabogatan, Rakim Lucman, Elias Maute, and Aleem Solaiman Malawi.
The officers and employees from NCMF-NCR who participated in the distribution were Chief Administrative Officer Alfarah Alonto Adiong, PBCRD Chief Ali Maruhom Jr., SD Chief Norjanina Balindong together with Hientjie Panotolan, Haliloden Lucman, Lafayette Alonto and Amer Hassan Lomondot.
The AFP Joint Task Force-NCR, headed by Major Arniel Tormis, PA, joined the distribution to ensure that health and safety protocols were duly observed.
Also in attendance were Barangay Chairman Ma. Elisa Chan of Barangay 188, Tala and Barangay Chairman Joel Bacolod of Barangay 176, Bagong Silang, Caloocan. They were grateful for all the assistance extended to their Muslim constituents and signified their intention to meet our leaders to personally show their sincere appreciation.
The beneficiaries through the NCMF and Secretary Saidamen B. Pangarungan would like to send their deepest gratitude to the LDS Provincial Government and Governor Mamintal Alonto Adiong Jr, for their endless support and concern.
