Following the recently concluded 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE), the DILG Camarines Sur, through its DILG Field Officers, monitored their respective Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Inventory Teams (BSKITs) in their conduct of Final Inventory and Turnover of B/SK Properties, Financial Records, Documents (BSKPFRDs) and Money Accountabilities in the component barangays and SKs.
The move is aimed to sustain a transparent, accountable and a smooth transition of governance by the outgoing and incoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Officials.
Furthermore, DILG Camarines Sur reminds the BSKOs that failure of the same to turnover government funds and properties assigned to him/her or under his/her custody may be a ground for the filing of criminal charges in accordance with the Revised Penal Code, and other existing laws, rules and regulations.
