The Public Employment Office Service (CamSur PESO) of the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Garchitorena, conducted a Local and Overseas Job Fair at the Municipal Covered Court, Poblacion, Garchitorena, last February 29, 2024.
With over 1,500 job vacancies from three (3) participating local companies and another 1,595 openings from four (4) overseas agencies, the job fair was flocked by the locals of Garchitorena and other neighboring municipalities eager to find employment.
Moreover, attending the activity were representatives of national government agencies namely the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), PhilHealth, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to assist in the job applications of the hopeful applicants.
The CamSur PESO regularly holds job fairs in every municipality and community of the province aligning with the goal of the Provincial Government, under Governor Luigi Villafuerte’s administration, of providing every Camarinenses with opportunities to help uplift their quality of life.
