For the two–day National Vaccination Day, “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” Part 3, the Cordillera region’s collective target is to reach out to at least 30,984 unvaccinated individuals.
Department of Health – Cordillera Medical Officer III Dr. Anachris Kilakil said that aside from the targeted unvaccinated population, they will provide booster jabs to at least 77,450 eligible fully vaccinated individuals from February 10 to 11.
Dr. Kilakil reiterated the importance of the anti-COVID-19 vaccine to give protection to the still unvaccinated individuals and to provide additional protection through booster dose to eligible population especially those vulnerable groups.
As of Feb. 5 data of the Cordillera Regional Vaccination Operations Center, the region has recorded 1,047,097 fully vaccinated individuals , 72,247 partially vaccinated and 166,399 residents got their booster shots.
Fully vaccinated individuals in the region are already at 71.26%.
For the first semester of the year, the whole region is aiming to achieve 80 percent of the population or at least 1,469,486 individuals to be vaccinated.
