The PROCOR’s campaign on illegal drugs resulted in the arrest of 13 drug personalities and the destruction of P350 million worth of marijuana in a series of anti-illegal drugs operations in the Cordillera region conducted from February 20 to February 26, 2022.
According to police reports from February 20 to February 26, 11 drug personalities were arrested in Benguet and while the other two were arrested in Baguio City.
In Benguet, arrested personalities were Oliver Ansibey, 33; Dindo Galang, 43; Cresilda Babon, 53; Alifie Abungan, 40; Marlon Manansala, 39; Winston Changilan, 49; Raymund Mina, 30; Jeffty Panduyos, 33; Hilson Wallay, 42; Monsour Artemio, 26 and Jerobel Abalos, 29.
Meanwhile, in Baguio, two arrested personalities were identified as Arthur Hidalgo, 29; and Willyn Sendico, 32.
A total of 12.97 grams of suspected shabu amounting to P88,196.00 were seized during the operations.
More than P350M worth of marijuana were burned and destroyed in 13 sites in the mountains of Tinglayan Kalinga in one week marijuana eradication.
To put an end to the supply chain of cannabis in Tinglayan, Kalinga, the combined forces of PDEA Cordillera, Police Regional Office Cordillera and the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines together with the Phil. Army, Phil. Navy, Phil. Coast Guard, National Bureau of Investigation and the Phil.
